About the Author
Born in 1950 on a Nebraska farm, David Sohl grew up riding horses to a one-room schoolhouse and working alongside his father and brothers. Though he dreamed of flying fighter jets, life redirected him toward a higher calling: sharing the message of hope and healing through ministry.
For 50 years, he pastored churches, planted nine congregations, and guided countless individuals through their deepest struggles. His mission has always been to serve the broken—over 300 survivors of abuse have found solace in his counsel, alongside professionals, college students, and even his 96-year-old grandfather, who found peace through the principles in this book.
His wisdom transcends age, race, and occupation, transforming lives from blue-collar workers to police captains. Married for 48 years with two children and seven grandchildren, he embodies resilience, faith, and the power of human connection.
Drawing from a lifetime of ministry and a patchwork of experiences—from running a telephone company to contracting—David Sohl delivers a message that is universal, practical, and deeply personal. His work is a beacon for those seeking freedom from emotional burdens and a roadmap to lasting peace.
